Ill give my top 25 in a minute, but I want to gripe for a second. I have this auspicious feeling that we are going to see Ohio State versus another SEC team again. This time I think Florida will be the team. I just don't understand how Ohio State can get to the BCS Championship without having to play in a conference championship. Yes, they do play USC on Sept 13th, but even with a loss, they can run the table and get into one of the two Championship spots. I feel the same way about USC, but being in the Pac-10 means that the Trojans will play in several tough games...not just a season ending game against Michigan.
Don't get me wrong, Ohio State is very good. Beanie Wells may contend for the Heisman. They have an experienced QB, and LB James Laurinaitis is one of the best. Two years in a row I've thought there were better teams in the BCS than Ohio State, but there they are...easy picking for the speed and power 0f the SEC.
Now, here is my top 25.
1. Florida
2. USC
3. Ohio State
4. Oklahoma
5. Georgia
6. Missouri
7. LSU
8. Texas
9. Auburn
10. Kansas
11. Clemson
12. Penn State
13. Virginia Tech
14. BYU
15. Tennessee
16. Texas Tech
17. Arizona State
18. Illinois
19. Alabama
20. West Virgina
21. Pittsburgh
22. Oregon
23. TCU
24. Mississippi State
25. Utah
I guess the only big surprise is that I didn't put Georgia in the top 3. Believe me, they have the ability, but their schedule is ridiculous. Road games at Auburn and Arizona State. They also have land mines against Florida, Alabama, and LSU...and a rivalry game against Georgia Tech.
The biggest sleeper out there for my money is West Virginia. They still have Pat White and Noel Devine..plus 8 returning starters on Defense.
That's it....thanks for reading.

I mostly agree with the top 25. Ohio State epitomizes what looks good on paper. They are never tested in the Big Ten(Eleven) and they are given too much credit. I would have no complaint with Ohio State being outside of the top 5. I think Clemson and Mississippi State are going to go beyond expectations this season. It is clear that the SEC is the dominant conference yet again! ROLL TIDE!!
